An Associate Degree for Transfer (AA-T or AS-T) is different from an associate degree (AA or AS) and is required for program participation. Students interested in enrolling will need to confirm with their community college that they have earned AA-T or AS-T, and not an AA or AS. For more information about ADTs, please visit the California Community Colleges' website, or speak with your community college counselor.
Students who declare a major that aligns with an SF State-approved ADT pathway, and have earned the relevant AA-T or AS-T, can complete their SF State bachelor's degree in 60 units. The Through in Two Program leverages the approved ADT pathway, by assisting students in finishing these 60 units within two years through providing participants with priority registration for classes and specialized educational planning support.
