Hi, I am Annu. I am a sophomore majoring in Business Administration in Information Systems. I was born and raised in Delhi, India. I love my culture and traditions. My favorite pastime is to listen to music and my favorite recreational activity is badminton. I am enthusiastic about peer mentoring my fellow students. Hey everyone :) My name is Kenya Bravo, I am a second year Africana Studies major here at SF State. I am from San Francisco and I love going to the gym, cooking, watching anime, and listening to music! Leila Bravo (she/they) - Peer Mentor
Hey!! My name is Leila Bravo and I am currently a second-year majoring in pre-nursing with a soon-to-be minor in holistic health. I am a San Francisco native, and I love going out for hikes/walks, painting, trying new foods, journaling, and listening to music. This is my first year being a part of the FYE program and I am excited! I am mostly looking forward to meeting new people and helping my peers to learn and grow as students but also as individuals! :)
Alisah Brown – Peer Mentor Trainee
Hi! My name is Alisah Brown and I am beyond excited to be a support system for first year students. A little about me, I grew up in Keizer, Oregon and moved to San Francisco, California for college. Here I am a 2nd year student double majoring in industrial design and economics. I am also very involved here on campus in Residential Housing Association and Alpha Phi. Some things I enjoy are dancing, study dates, listening to music, and spending time with my friends.

Hello everyone! My name is Isabella and I am a fourth-year Public Health major from Sacramento, California! I love playing and listening to music, cooking new recipes, and reading science fiction. Hey guys! I’m a third-year journalism student with a poli sci minor. I became a peer mentor because being a first year is always a little intimidating. I want to help facilitate things for people and show them all that SF State has to offer. Other than being a peer mentor I love being politically active in SF and spending time with friends!

Hello incoming students! Coming from an insider Gator, I, Dylan Gillespie, am one of your Peer Mentors and a genie to answer all of your questions, hopefully! I am currently a junior studying Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences with a double minor in Special Education and Early Childhood Development. I wish to help others understand the determination and drive it takes to become a part of the Gator family and the amazing opportunities we offer. Thanks to many of our advisors, administrators, and professors, I will finish my degree pathway a year early and enter graduate school before turning twenty-one! Hello everyone! My name is Kweli Hernandez, originally from Los Angeles. I am majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Ethnic Studies. I am currently a junior and am a part of the wrestling team at 184lbs. My hobbies include walking my dog, lifting weights, exploring the city, and eating good food. I am also excited to meet the new students and am glad to be able to take away some of the stress of being a first-year student.
